WazirX Releases Explainer Video on Rebalanced NLPA Ahead of Voting

WazirX

WazirX has completed the rebalancing of platform assets, specifically the Net Liquid Platform Assets (NLPA), as part of its ongoing restructuring process. To ensure transparency, the company has released a detailed explainer video to help users navigate the updated NLPA page and understand the impact on their asset allocations.

The rebalanced NLPA page provides users with a breakdown of their computed share of platform assets, estimated recovery percentage, and details of the first distribution. The update follows the company’s efforts to restructure its financial position after the cyberattack, ensuring users receive the most accurate asset allocation data.

Key Details of the Rebalanced NLPA Page

The updated NLPA page displays:

  • Portfolio Value as of July 18, 2024 – The total USD and INR value before rebalancing.
  • Rebalanced Asset (as of January 17, 2025) – Users’ revised holdings based on the restructuring plan.
  • Estimated Recovery Percentage – The expected percentage of asset recovery post-rebalancing.
  • Token Breakdown & Adjustments – Low-liquidity tokens will be partially distributed in their original form, with the remainder provided in USDT equivalent for smoother disbursement.

Voting on the Restructuring Scheme Approaches

With the voting date for the restructuring scheme approaching, the update is expected to play a crucial role in shaping user decisions. Under the proposed plan:

  • Crypto assets will be distributed instead of fiat, enabling users to retain market exposure.
  • Potential for asset value growth remains, as token distributions allow users to benefit from price appreciation during favorable market conditions.
  • Crypto deposits made after July 18, 2024, will remain unaffected and will be available for full withdrawal if the scheme is approved.

The restructuring vote is set to determine the next phase of WazirX’s recovery plan. Users are encouraged to review the latest updates on the NLPA page before voting.
